Erich Probst and Theodor Wagner for Austria, 2 hat tricks from Sándor Kocsis for Hungary, Josef Hügi for Switzerland, Burhan Sargın for Turkey, Carlos Borges for Uruguay and Max Morlock for West Germany scored the hat tricks.
